The Cardin CDR852A industrial photocells provide high-performance infrared safety detection for automated gates, doors and access control systems. Designed for demanding environments, they deliver reliable obstacle detection and system protection across long-distance installations. Using a modulated infrared beam system, the CDR852A operates with a transmitter and receiver to detect interruptions across ranges from 15m up to 60m. As a result, it ensures consistent and accurate obstacle detection for industrial and high-traffic applications. An anti-tamper aluminium housing with IP66 protection provides durability in harsh outdoor conditions. The sealed design and shock-resistant construction ensure long-term reliability in exposed environments, including industrial sites and high-use access points.
