The Cardin DKSDUAL is a multifunction access control system that combines keypad entry and RFID transponder technology into a single, integrated solution. Designed for automated gates, doors and access systems, it provides secure and flexible control across residential, commercial and industrial environments. Users can activate the system by entering a PIN code or by presenting an RFID credential, including S500 transmitters, tags or cards. This dual-technology approach allows greater flexibility in how access is managed across different users and site requirements. The system supports up to 1000 user codes, with each code capable of controlling up to four independent command functions. A 4-channel interface with normally open relays allows the DKSDUAL to manage multiple access points or automation functions from a single device. Designed for scalable installations, the interface can manage up to three peripheral devices, including additional keypads or transponder readers. This enables access control from multiple entry points across larger sites. The keypad transponder and interface features 12 backlit keys, with illumination automatically controlled by a proximity and light sensor. This ensures visibility in low-light conditions while reducing unnecessary power consumption. A robust IP57-rated housing provides protection against dust, water and environmental exposure, making the DKSDUAL suitable for demanding outdoor installations. The anti-tamper design and secure mounting system further enhance system security. Remote memorisation functionality allows user credentials to be programmed without direct access to the interface, improving installation efficiency and simplifying system management.
