Installation Guide: How to set up the i-Gate Plus in 5 easy steps

Step 1: Site preparation & power supply

– Ensure good 4G signal strength at the installation location
– Use a regulated power supply (12-24V AC/DC, not included)
– Select the correct power cable thickness based on distance:

Distance	Recommended Cable
Up to 2m	0.5mm² (18 gauge)
Up to 4m	0.75mm² (16 gauge)
Up to 8m	1.0mm² (14 gauge)

Pro Tip: Always test the unit on a workbench before final installation.

Step 2: SIM card setup

– Use a voice-enabled 4G SIM card (not data-only)
– Disable SIM PIN codes before inserting the card
– Activate the SIM card and insert it into the unit

Step 3: Wiring and connections

– Connect the power supply
– Mount the 4G antenna in a high-signal location
– Wire the relay connections to the gate motor

Optional: Integrate the E-Loop system for wireless vehicle detection

Step 4: Programming the unit

You can configure the i-Gate Plus via text commands or the AES mobile app.
